Well seriously this year has come as a shock for students as the IIT JEE 2011 Cutoff has increased by 40 odd marks
Last year where IIT JEE 2010 Cutoff was around 188-190 marks, this year IIT JEE 2011 Cutoff has increased to 229 Marks for General category students which is indeed surprising. A possible reason for this that IIT JEE decide to give students 12 marks extra for the mistakes which had occurred in IIT JEE 2011 Paper.
IIT JEE 2011 Extended Merit Cutoff (EML Cutoff) is also out. EML Cutoff is 203 marks.
